Coconut Oil: Sunburn

Coconut OilHow is it that people who live in the tropics never seem to get sunburn? The rest of us do!

Until  the last 80 to 100 years people who lived on the tropical islands used a tremendous amount of coconut oil or coconut in some form in their daily life.

Coconut oil is used daily over their entire body by everyone  from  infants to their grandparents. In addition, virtually every meal contains some coconut.

Be sure to take your coconut oil to the beach with you. If it gets washed off you can put more back on readily.

If you already have a sunburn  gently rub on coconut oil to soothe the burn. It will relieve the pain and take away the redness. Apply coconut oil to the sunburn as often as is necessary to be comfortable.
